Daemonic Incursion
Daemonic Incursion is an entirely new single-player mode that will be available to all Battlesector players as part of a free update that we’ll be launching alongside the Sisters of Battle Faction Pack.
In Daemonic Incursion, waves of Khornate daemons enter realspace to spill blood, collect skulls and overrun your forces. This is a last-stand mode, in which your objective is simple:
Survive!

In addition, we will announce and open for sign-up a new competitive online tournament of Battlesector in collaboration with Game Workshop. Players will be able to take part in it and get the chance to win some amazing physical goodies with a Sisters of Battle theme. The tournament’s name will be Sisters of Battle Tournament and will start in February 2023.
The Sisters of Battle join Warhammer 40,000: Battlesector, with fifteen new units and special gameplay mechanics and can call on the Emperor’s Guidance through their HQ units, firing rounds that seemingly possess uncanny accuracy and inflict greater damage.
The canoness can bless her allies or curse her foes with empowered faith abilities. Her scorn itself is a powerful weapon that cows the unfaithful. Celestian Sacresants carry stout bulwarks that turn aside any damage that would target her.
The Emperor’s spirit can push the Arco Flagellants to superhuman endurance, briefly increasing their movement and the movement of the sisters that fight alongside them.
The Sisters Hospitallers can restore hit points and remove status effects from their battle brethren, while still being capable units in their own right.
In the Adepta Sororitas DLC, you will command 15 such blessed units of the order, primed and ready for battle in Skirmish, Multiplayer, Planetary Supremacy and the new Daemonic Incursion mode.
Each unit comes with its own unique and exquisitely crafted models and abilities, as well as all new HQ abilities for the faction as a whole.
Warhammer 40,000: Gladius – Adepta Sororitas DLC
Just like Battlesector, Warhammer 40,000: Gladius expands with the Sisters of Battle as a new playable faction.
A new faction joins the war for Gladius Prime: the Adepta Sororitas, with eighteen new units, new heroes, unique gameplay mechanics, city buildings, a new questline and a new tech tree.
The Adepta Sororitas, also known as the Sisters of Battle, are the militant arm of the Adeptus Ministorum. Pure of heart and fanatical of devotion, they place the worship of the Emperor above all other concerns. They maintain holy places anywhere where His subjects might be served, tending to the needs of the poor and the sick as well as spreading the word of His glory to all that might listen. But not all are worthy, and for those that aren’t – only merciful death can be granted.
Gameplay Mechanics
– Shield of Faith: Units have an Invulnerable Damage Reduction against all damage and a Witchfire Damage Reduction.
– Acts of Faith: If they have enough morale, units can perform Acts of Faith abilities to get temporary bonuses.
– Holy Trinity of Weapons: The main weapons of the Adepta Sororitas are the Bolter, the Flamer and the Melta.
– Sacred Rites: Pay influence to provide one short Faction-wide bonus to the Adepta Sororitas. Can be upgraded to two Sacred Rites at once.
– Martyr Spirit: When a unit dies, adjacent units benefit from a 17% morale loss reduction for 1 turn.
– Convent of Faith: Each tile in a city confers +1 Loyalty.
– Requisitions: Food and ore resources are replaced by a single soil-independent requisitions resource.
– Sororitas Holy Site: Exploring a Sororitas Holy Site with Hospitallers gives a research reward. The quantity of Holy Sites scales with the map size. The research reward scales with the number of turns.
– Oath of Faith: Broken units cannot use their Shield of Faith and Deal 50% less damage instead of 33%.
– Religious Enclave: All the cities of the Adepta Sororitas built after their first are limited to a one-tile radius and cannot develop further.
