You can still enjoy the first game as this game comes as a quasi-sequel the same way Overwatch 2 is to Overwatch 1.
The game sets in a dark fantasy world. You will find yourself in shady residential areas as well as lava fields infested by monsters for you to defeat. It may be an old MMO, but has visuals that win over some modern action MMOs easily. You don’t see the character from behind, but rather from a bird’s eye perspective. The gameplay resembles the first game. As an Action RPG provides the ideal opportunity to jump in as a beginner MMORPG player to the genre.
The game adds a second main campaign to the dame endgame as the first game’s campaign with progression, abilities, and skills. The Path of Exile franchise is heavily inspired by the Diablo series, especially Diablo 2 that why it counts as a spiritual successor of that game. You can take up different classes like Duelist, Marauder, Ranger, Scion, Shadow, Templar, and, Witch. Each has its strengths and weaknesses. You can control the weak points of your characters with a skill gem that also gains experience as you progress in defeating enemies. is unusual among action role-playing games in that there is no in-game currency. Unlike traditional game currencies, these items have their inherent uses (such as upgrading an item’s rarity level, rerolling affixes, or improving an item’s quality) and thus provide their money sinks to prevent inflation. Most of these items are used to modify and upgrade equipment, though some identify items, create portals to town, or grant skill refund points.
