PlayStation Plus July 2026 Free Games Include Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3

Sony has officially unveiled the lineup of free PlayStation Plus games for July 2026, giving subscribers three new titles to add to their libraries. Starting July 7, all PS Plus members can claim Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3, For the King 2, and CrossCode at no extra cost.

If you still haven’t redeemed June’s PlayStation Plus games, make sure to grab them before the new lineup replaces them next Tuesday.

Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3 Headlines July’s Lineup

Leading this month’s selection is Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3 (2023). While it wasn’t considered one of the strongest entries in the long-running franchise, it still delivers the fast-paced military action fans expect.

The campaign continues the story immediately after the previous Modern Warfare installment, following Captain Price and Task Force 141 as they hunt down the ultranationalist war criminal Vladimir Makarov across multiple global locations. Alongside the single-player campaign, players also get access to the series’ signature multiplayer experience and the popular Zombies mode, offering plenty of content for both solo and competitive players.

Embark on a Tactical Adventure in For the King 2

Next up is For the King 2, a strategy RPG that blends roguelite mechanics with tabletop-inspired gameplay. Players journey through the kingdom of Fahrul to overthrow a ruthless queen, tackling the adventure either alone or with friends in cooperative multiplayer.

In addition to its main campaign, the game features the Dark Carnival mode, where teams descend through increasingly dangerous dungeon floors, testing how long they can survive before being overwhelmed by enemies.

CrossCode Remains One of the Best Retro-Inspired RPGs

Rounding out the month’s offerings is CrossCode, an acclaimed action RPG that has built a loyal fanbase thanks to its nostalgic presentation and satisfying gameplay.

Featuring beautiful 16-bit-inspired visuals, the game combines old-school action combat with deep RPG progression, character customization, challenging puzzles, and fast-paced encounters. Fans looking for more from developer Radical Fish may also want to check out its latest project, Alabaster Dawn, which recently launched in Steam Early Access and continues the studio’s passion for classic RPG design.
