Pokémon GO is kicking off its brand-new Forever Forward season with a packed schedule of events throughout June 2026. Trainers can look forward to returning Legendary Pokémon in Raids, a highly anticipated Frigibax Community Day, special Team Leader research events, and a new Mega Raid Day before the month wraps up.
Whether you’re hunting powerful Raid bosses, shiny Pokémon, or exclusive rewards, here’s a complete breakdown of everything happening in Pokémon GO this June.
June Raid Schedule
Niantic is refreshing the Raid lineup once again, bringing back several fan-favorite Legendary and Mega Pokémon throughout the month.
During the first half of June, trainers will have the opportunity to challenge the Unova mascots Reshiram and Zekrom in five-star Raids. Later in the month, Necrozma takes over before the Ultra Beasts Kartana and Celesteela arrive for players in their respective hemispheres.
Mega Raids will feature a rotating selection of popular Mega Evolutions, while Shadow Dialga remains available in Shadow Raids for the entire month.

Spark’s Quest for Caretaking
Running from June 2–8, Team Instinct leader Spark is inviting trainers to assist with a research initiative focused on exploration and egg hatching.
Throughout the event, several desirable Pokémon will hatch more frequently from 7 km Eggs, including Varoom, Galarian Corsola, and Hisuian Qwilfish. Trainers will also encounter Pokémon such as Alolan Raichu, Dratini, and Jolteon more often in the wild.
Special themed Field Research tasks will be available during the event, offering additional encounters with featured Pokémon. Trainers can also progress through both free and paid GO Passes, unlocking bonuses and rewards as they complete objectives.

Candela’s Quest for Victory
From June 9–15, Team Valor leader Candela takes center stage with her own event focused on Pokémon battles.
Fighting- and Fire-type Pokémon will be appearing more frequently in the wild, while several powerful Pokémon, including Machamp and Scizor, will be featured in Raids.
Like previous Team Leader events, themed Field Research tasks will provide extra encounters and rewards. Trainers can also continue progressing through their free or premium GO Passes to unlock additional bonuses.

Frigibax Community Day
One of June’s biggest highlights arrives on June 20, when Frigibax stars in this month’s Community Day event.
Between 2:00 PM and 5:00 PM local time, Frigibax will spawn far more frequently in the wild, giving trainers an excellent chance to catch this normally rare Ice- and Dragon-type Pokémon.
Players will also enjoy increased odds of finding a Shiny Frigibax and may encounter Frigibax with a special event background.
Exclusive Community Day Field Research tasks will award Stardust, Frigibax encounters, and other useful rewards.
Exclusive Baxcalibur Move
If you evolve Frigibax’s final evolution, Baxcalibur, by 9:00 PM local time, it will learn the exclusive Charged Attack:

- Incense lasts three hours (excluding Daily Adventure Incense)

Flying Taxi Event
The Flying Taxi event takes place from June 23–29.
Niantic has not yet revealed full details about the event, but additional information is expected closer to its launch date.
Flying Taxi: Taken Over
Things won’t stay peaceful for long. Team GO Rocket will interrupt the Flying Taxi festivities during Flying Taxi: Taken Over, running from June 25–29.
Further event details will be announced at a later date.
Mega Raid Day
Pokémon GO’s next Mega Raid Day is scheduled for June 27.
Niantic has yet to reveal which Mega Pokémon will be featured, but more information is expected later in the month.
