On the content side, Season 2 also delivers a brand-new Battle Pass, new DLC weapons, additional maps, and the return of a Blackout-style battle royale experience for Warzone.

- Recon Combat Specialty has been fixed so its red cone indicators properly display when the Recon perk bonus is active.
- Specialist Wildcard has been corrected to ensure players hear audio cues when earning bonus perks, resolving a long-standing feedback issue.
Multiplayer Scorestreak Adjustments
Scorestreak balance also gets some attention:
- Care Package drops now include returning Black Ops 6 scorestreaks.
- An issue with the Deadeye Drone where proximity chat failed to function correctly has been fixed.
- The DAWG streak now takes 20% less damage while in Sentry Mode (Overclock).
- Server stability has been improved when DAWGs are active on the map.
Zombies Map Fixes
Season 2 delivers a collection of targeted fixes for Zombies maps, particularly Ashes of the Damned and Astra Malorum.
Key fixes include:

- Multiple quest and encounter bugs involving the Zursa bear enemy have been addressed.
- The Mystery Box will now properly relocate on Astra Malorum after becoming dormant in Abyssal Rim or Crash Site areas.
Zombies Perk Fixes and Mule Kick Changes
Several perk-a-colas receive bug fixes, with Vulture Aid seeing the most notable updates:
- The Condor’s Reach augment now works properly with armor plates.
- Armor-Matic will no longer fail when players only have level-one armor.
Meanwhile, Mule Kick from Season 1 has been refined with multiple fixes:
- Max Ammo now correctly restores Tactical Equipment when using the Fully Equipped augment.
- Players downed while holding Mule Kick will no longer pull out a pistol instead of a Ray Gun if it’s their third weapon.
- Stock ammo refills now occur only on the first purchase of Mule Kick.
- The Pack Mule augment now functions as intended.
Additionally, Death Perception’s Hidden Gems augment now correctly highlights loot through objects.
New Warzone Win Streak Rewards
With the launch of Season 2, Season 1 Warzone win-streak camos are no longer obtainable.
Season 2 introduces a new set of rewards for players who can chain wins together:

Resurgence

- Players will encounter the “Airspace Crowded” message less frequently.
- A new “At Your Active Limit” warning appears when attempting to immediately call in the same killstreak again.
Warzone Killstreak Buffs and Balance Changes
Season 2 aims to make killstreaks more impactful while keeping overall balance intact.
- Activating an Advanced UAV now requires four combined UAVs.
- According to the developer: “Due to the vast amount of UAVs that are called match to match, especially when compared to other killstreaks, we are increasing the effort to activate the Advanced UAV in this regard.”
Other killstreak improvements include:

- Faster missile travel
- Strikes arrive 1.75 seconds sooner
Napalm Strikes
- Explosive damage increased from 150 to 300
