EA and Battlefield Studios have officially revealed the PC system requirements for Battlefield 6, giving players a clear look at what kind of hardware they’ll need when the game launches. The full details were posted on the developer’s blog, along with some exciting extras for PC players.
“Battlefield 6 brings the best PC experience in the history of the franchise offering the widest array of features and customization options ever supported,” the studio said.
Anti-Cheat System: Javelin Takes Aim
Cheating has always been a hot topic in online shooters, and EA is addressing it head-on. Battlefield 6 will use the new Javelin anti-cheat system, which the developer says was designed specifically for FPS titles.
“Our Anticheat system has unique modifications designed to safeguard against cheats and hacks specific to the FPS space. Javelin has been built from the ground up by a team of veteran engineers and analysts focused on studying cheating problems for each specific game under EA’s umbrella and designing unique features to solve those issues,” the team explained.
PC Features & Customization
If you’re planning to play on PC, you’ll be getting the most flexible version of Battlefield 6 yet. Key features include:
- Ultrawide monitor support (21:9 and 32:9)
- Over 600 customization options, covering everything from HDR to HUD scaling
- Upscaling technology for smoother performance: frame generation, anti-aliasing, and latency reduction
The game’s post-launch updates will add new modes, maps, weapons, and more. That’s why the storage requirements list a disclaimer “at launch” – expect the file size to grow.
