A New Batman Adventure Arrives Alongside The Caped Crusader Season 2

Batman fans have something new to look forward to this summer, although it may not be the blockbuster sequel many were hoping for. Coinciding with the premiere of Batman: The Caped Crusader Season 2 on July 31, Amazon and Warner Bros. have unveiled Batman: Caped Crusader – Chronicles, a brand-new cooperative mystery game launching exclusively on Amazon Luna.

The game will be available to Amazon Prime members at no additional cost through Luna’s cloud gaming library, giving subscribers an easy way to jump into Gotham’s latest adventure.

Amazon also announced that Luna is expanding to Prime Video on Fire TV devices in the US and UK, allowing players to stream games directly from the Prime Video app. Players can use either a traditional controller or even a smartphone, making it easier than ever to access cloud games without additional hardware.

Solve Crimes Across Gotham With Friends

Rather than focusing solely on Batman, Batman: Caped Crusader – Chronicles is designed as a cooperative party game for up to four players.

Players become members of a special Gotham City Police Department task force, working alongside Batman’s trusted allies to investigate a series of criminal cases throughout Gotham.

Detective Renee Montoya plays a central role, guiding players through 11 episodic missions that combine detective work with a variety of minigames. As investigations unfold, several iconic Batman villains make appearances, including:

• Scarecrow
• Dollmaker
• The Joker

To strengthen the connection with the animated series, Hamish Linklater and Michelle C. Bonilla return to voice Batman and Detective Montoya, reprising their roles from Batman: The Caped Crusader.

A Different Take on the Dark Knight

When Batman: The Caped Crusader debuted in 2024, it stood apart from previous animated Batman adaptations by embracing a stylish 1940s film noir setting.

The series follows a younger Bruce Wayne during the early days of his crime-fighting career, portraying Batman as a mysterious vigilante whose methods are often viewed with suspicion by the Gotham City Police Department.
