Papaya Play Expands to Korean Service with Echo of Soul
Echo of Soul, the MMORPG developed and operated by Blue Potion, has been in discussions with publisher Vertigo Games regarding development opportunities and resources for its Korean service.
An agreement has been reached for Vertigo Games to begin servicing Echo of Soul under its Papaya Play publishing brand, beginning with the Korean service on September 1st, 2022.
To best serve its user base, the login process for Echo of Soul has not been modified, and users will not experience any changes once they access the game. Users will notice changes later, as Vertigo Games begin implementing its development plans.
Vertigo Games already has a record of successful development with BlackShot (a top-performing FPS in Southeast Asia) and War of Zombie (developed with Tencent).Papaya Play, Vertigo Games’ global publishing brand, launched in 2015 and has serviced multiple popular MMORPG’s, including La Tale, Uncharted Waters Online, and Dekaron.
With the September 1st launch of the Korean Echo of Soul service, Papaya Play is now in final preparations for the launch of the game’s global service, featuring full account transfer for existing players, as well as the brand-new “Ragnarok” server.
Existing Echo of Soul players who transfer their accounts, and players who refer friends to the global service, will both receive additional bonuses when the global service begins.
