Night City Gets a Turbo Boost: Patch 2.3 Drops With Big Features
CD Projekt Red has officially rolled out Cyberpunk 2077 Patch 2.3, launching on PC, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series X|S, with support for Cyberpunk 2077: Ultimate Edition on Nintendo Switch 2 coming later. Hold tight, Switch players, your turn is just around the corner!
Whether you’re returning to Night City or jumping in for the first time, this update brings a serious punch: new vehicles, AutoDrive, smarter Delamain cabs, enhanced Photo Mode, fresh PC features, and even support for Apple silicon Macs.
Let’s break it all down.
AutoDrive Feature
Say hello to autonomous driving! Just hop in a car, hit H on PC or hold the left stick on consoles, and your ride will take you to your next job, pinned location, or give you a scenic cruise through Night City. Combat disables it, so keep it chill.
There’s also a Cinematic Camera mode (Q on PC / D-Pad Right on consoles) for those perfect in-game road trip vibes.
Summonable Delamain Cabs
Complete the mission “Don’t Lose Your Mind” and you’ll get access to self-driving Delamain cabs on demand. Request one from your vehicle menu and ride like a true Corpo.
CrystalCoat™ Upgrades
CrystalCoat™ is now supported on more vehicle types, including bikes. Thanks to a hacker named Cosmetic_Troll, even budget rides can get a custom finish – though some modded nomad or mission-related cars won’t support it.
Photo Mode Upgrades: More NPCs, New Filters, and Postcard Vibes
Photo Mode is getting love too, with major improvements:
- 27 new NPCs added, like Rita Wheeler, the Cassel twins, fixers, Dum Dum, and even Brendan the vending machine.
- Switch between NPC outfits and V’s wardrobe sets.
- New Look-At Camera controls – now you can make just the character’s eyes follow the camera.
- Exit confirmation pop-up to avoid losing the perfect shot.
- Tons of new stickers & frames, including quotes and stylish overlays for that authentic Night City postcard feel.
- Improved Depth of Field and a new Color Balance tab to create custom visual filters.
Cyberpunk 2077 Comes to Apple Silicon Macs
Mac gamers, rejoice! Cyberpunk 2077 is now officially supported on Apple silicon via the Mac App Store and other storefronts. Already own it on GOG, Steam, or Epic Games Store? You’re covered, just check compatibility on the official site.
Ready to Dive Back In?
Cyberpunk 2077 Patch 2.3 adds depth, style, and serious tech improvements that make the game feel more immersive and future-forward than ever. Whether you’re chasing down new rides or just cruising in cinematic mode, Night City has never looked better.
