Respawn Entertainment and Bit Reactor have officially revealed the name of their highly anticipated Star Wars turn-based tactics game: Star Wars Zero Company. Scheduled to launch on PC, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series X|S, this new installment promises an immersive single-player experience.
Although details remain scarce, the development teams unveiled a captivating piece of key art and announced that fans can get their first real look at the game on April 9 during Star Wars Celebration. The artwork spotlights a diverse cast of characters—ranging from Jedi and Droids to Mandalorians—hinting at the potential variety of playable classes.
In early leaks, the project was reportedly known by the codename “Project Bruno.” However, these images are said to be over a year old, suggesting they may reflect an earlier build of the game. Regardless, excitement is running high, especially given Bit Reactor’s origins: the studio was founded by former XCOM developers and has partnered with Respawn Entertainment specifically for Star Wars Zero Company.
Of course, this isn’t the only Star Wars title in the works. Saber Interactive is tackling a remake of Knights of the Old Republic, Quantic Dream is developing Star Wars: Eclipse, and Skydance New Media—led by director Amy Hennig—has an unannounced Star Wars project underway. Stay tuned for more updates as the Star Wars gaming universe continues to expand.
