Whitemoon Games implemented a new update for Broken Ranks that introduces many new features related to managing guilds, and some bug fixes, a new quest, and balance changes.
“Following the plan for this year, we’ve given players the first big update. We’re adding a lot of features to guilds, including the ability to buy guild land and create full-blown guild headquarters.”
– says the founder of the studio, Krzysztof Danilewicz.
Buying land is the first step towards founding the headquarters of your guild. It allows you to construct buildings which provide additional benefits such as new pets, additional buffs, and the ability to teleport across the game world.
“Apart from guilds, this update introduces a new quest: Track. It’s another new piece of content after the quests Life’s a Dream and Shadows of the Past were added in mid-March. The patch also features new elements for female avatars, a rebalance of the upgrade flask crafting process and a lot of minor fixes.”
– adds Danilewicz.
The quarterly update is an element of the roadmap the studio revealed some time after the release and which sets the direction for future patches throughout the entire year. A full list of changes is available at the website of Broken Ranks HERE.
Broken Ranks is a successor to the MMORPG The Pride of Taern. It boasts a unique, turn-based combat system and a vast world seen from an isometric view. The title is reminiscent of such classics as the HoM&M series or Baldur’s Gate. Adventurers will be able to find a lot of story-driven quests and a vast, interesting world ready to be explored alone, in a group, or with guildmates.
Broken Ranks is available for PC through a game client.
