Broken Ranks is not just a game – it’s a community. TaernCon 2023 is just around the corner

There will be plenty of activities for participants, prizes, and a presentation of plans for the future. The event will take place on July 1st in Wrocław.

“As a studio, we’ve been organizing conventions for many years and… we can’t get enough of them! The truth is we’ve always focused on creating bonds and strived to be close to our players. Broken Ranks is not just a game, it’s a community with lots of great memories. You can’t imagine the energy boost an event like this can provide.” says the founder of the studio, Krzysztof Danilewicz.

Whitemoon Games has confirmed that this year’s TaernCon will feature a short presentation about the future plans of the studio, cosplay contest, trivia, Q&A session, and a PvP tournament. There will also be plenty of prizes, snacks, and drinks in a truly Taernian atmosphere. 

“Once a year, the world of Broken Ranks melds with reality and we try to make it the best possible experience for everyone. During the event, even players from opposing factions have fun like best friends. They can see with their own eyes that the characters they have been meeting inside the game are not only a bunch of pixels, but real, nice people. In addition to that, they can talk to us, make suggestions, give feedback, celebrate, and drink to the wellbeing of the world they have spent so much time in. Thank you for being with us!” adds Danilewicz.

The studio also announced that, after the event, its social media channels will feature photos and videos for those who could not attend it in person.

Broken Ranks is the successor to the MMORPG The Pride of Taern. It boasts a unique, turn-based combat system and a grim, low-fantasy world seen from an isometric view. The title is reminiscent of such classics as the HoM&M series or Baldur’s Gate. Adventurers will be able to find a lot of story-driven quests and a vast, interesting world ready to be explored alone, in a group, or with guildmates.
